Have you had some days, when your eyes feel strained and sore; when you look into the distance or up close and it is fuzzy and not clear? Do you sometimes notice your jaw is tight or your teeth feel sensitive? From time to time, do you have difficulty staying concentrated on what you are doing?
Learning to focus, relax and move your eyes, mouth and hands can help reduce the tension in and around your whole body and mind. Learning to be mind-full and present with fun and ease you will be able to experience what you are doing and learn to change the habits that you no longer need or want.

What can you do to improve the quality of your life? Observing yourself in action is a practice that can change the way you act in daily life. Find out where this practice can lead. Three lessons for persons interested in experiencing themselves in a novel way - suitable for any level of ability. Experienced students welcome.
Mar 7 All About Shoulders – Diane Lade
Chronic difficulty with the shoulders and arms is not uncommon. In fact, I see many who have lost the ability to raise their arms comfortably at all, and this affects so many activities! We'll begin to explore how the arms are supported, and awaken possibilities of comfortable shoulder movement. Suitable for those who cannot yet raise the arms.
Mar 21 Meditation Through Feldenkrais – Jamie van Dam
What are all the things that distract you from meditation? Do you have tight hip joints, a sore back or eye strain? Would you like to be more comfortable and concentrated when you meditate? Would you like to meditate through movement?
With Awareness through movement lessons that are easy to do, meditative, fun and relaxing you will experience how to bring mindfullness and awareness to what you are doing and learn to unravel the habits of your body/mind.
Students may join classes at any time during the term, if space available. Class duration is about 60 minutes. Wear comfortable, loose-fitting clothing so you can move freely. All classes and workshops are held at 1822 Oak Bay Avenue.
